The room is dimly lit, only brightened by a small lamp in the corner and sunlight coming through the blinds. The air is hazy and thick with grief. a woman’s voice attempts to get the attention of someone. After repeating his name a few times, she finally gets his attention.
“Jun, stay with me here. You spaced out again. You were thinking about it, I can tell.” she spoke worriedly. He sat there in contemplation, deciding whether or not to respond truthfully. “Would you believe me if I said I wasn’t?” He said with a hint of shaken sarcasm in his voice. “I’m sorry, but no, you’re very easy to read when contemplating. That’s not a bad thing, it’s just something I’ve noticed.” she responded

Jun looks at the ground solemnly. “Look Jun, I know you have trouble with staying focused after what’s happened. Anyone’s mind would wander after such a traumatic event. So I don’t blame you for being distracted. But I also want to help you. That’s what I’m here for. And I can only help if you stay focused.”
