Living a Ghost Life


    Several years after the death of the ''Prince'', I was lost for a while. I stayed inside my ''residence'' for a few years since I didn''t know what should I do with my ''life''.


    Living a life as ghost is already sad and being alone downgrades me into being a pathetic ghost. No one to talk to or pretending to talk to like what I did with the ''Prince'' or read the scrolls and books with him.


    I couldn''t touch things so whenever the ''Prince'' read a book I was overjoyed because I could read with him but after he left, I had no one to share my ''hobby'' with and the books they read were simply not interesting.


    I guessed the ''Prince'' had inherited my great taste in books and it''s the only ''hobby'' that I could ''participate'' as a ghost.


    I couldn''t taste the tea when there''s a tea lesson, I couldn''t stand to watch the Palace Maids in the embroidery classes. Who could stand to watch people embroidered a flower for an hour?


    There are many things I couldn''t participate and then I was swallowed by sadness and anger, I didn''t even noticed I was staying in the residence for years!


    When I first walked out from the residence, I heard some Palace Maids talked to each other and said that the residence is haunted and sometimes they heard a woman wailed from the building. They said it might camefrom the person who used to stay there and she had become a ghost and have unfinished business so couldn''t get to the other side.


    It felt scary when I heard them shared their paranormal experiences but later I realised they were talking about me.


    I felt sad so I went inside the chamber again. I made a scary noises at night to revenge.


    ''How dare you talk about your late Queen like that?'' What, a ghost? Unfinished business? Ceh!''


    But then, everything they said was the truth that I couldn''t accept. I didn''t know why and when I died, why my child called me a betrayer, why the ''King'' died a year after me, and why there''s a blood on my clothes in my ''residence''.


    I thought my unfinished business was only because I''d wanted to see the ''King'' thus I didn''t get reincarnated but then I realised, there''s more to my death than I thought.


    There''s a story to be told, a secret to be revealed.
