Chapter 140: C-Level Customer!!

After they came out of the room, the basemander led Fu Yan into an aircraft.
Fu Yan looked towards the aircraft and could see that it had some simrities with the giant spaceship whose technology was borrowed from the Library.
''So they did not just copy the technology but tried to enhance it too. This race is really unique from the races I have visited before.''
Thinking this, Fu Yan boarded the aircraft, and then a grand convoy left for base zero.
When they started to fly, Fu Yan noticed that there were at least 100+ smaller aircraft escorting them. Seeing this, he let out a smile. Fu Yan understood that his attitude from the first encounter had left a great impression on them so they were not willing to take any risk.
After the convoy left for base zero, a figure that was looking at this, silently came out of invisibility and looked towards the departing aircrafts.
After a while, the figure picked up their rifle and aimed it towards the main ship, and the finger on the trigger tightened a little but after a second, the figure took the finger off the trigger and lowered the gun.
"He may survive!" the figure murmured in an almost inaudible voice and then started to fly behind the ships while staying invisible.
The figure seemed to possess very advanced technology because even though it was flying just beside the aircraft, thetter had not detected it.
After flying for more than 2 Earth hours, they reached a barren ce. This ce looked like a desert.
Just when Fu Yan was wondering where the base zero was, the sand beneath them started to shake a little, then buildings slowly started to rise from the ground.
Fu Yan looked down and saw hundreds if not thousands of buildings rising from the ground.
All of these buildings had cannons mounted on them and after these buildings stopped rising, thousands of soldiers started pouring out of them.
They came out from the building like ants came out of their bills when water is poured in holes they reside in.
Fu Yan watched all this with interest and noticed that even though it looked disorganized when they came out, all the soldiers formed neat formations a few seconds after exiting the buildings.
After that, the cannons turned to the opposite direction of the convoy, and then all of them fired at the same time.
Looking at the grand wee prepared for him, Fu Yan smiled inside his heart but that was it.
There was no joy, no excitement, or anything else. As if these emotions did not exist inside him.
Fu Yan pondered on it for a while but unknown to him, something started to suppress these thoughts and after some time, these thoughts slowly faded.
After the salute from the cannons, the aircraftnded near the tallest building.
Under the guidance of the basemander of the first base, Fu Yan exited the aircraft and then received a grand wee from themanders of base zero.
All of them took forward to greet him but none of them dared to shake hands with Fu Yan. They just greeted from a distance because they did not know how Fu Yan might react to that.
After that, they led Fu Yan inside the base to meet themander. ording to what they said, themander was ill and couldn''t go outside the base.
Fu Yan did not care about that and went inside the tallest building. When he was walking among themanders who seemed to be afraid of him and seemed very cautious in doing everything, even the way they walked or breathed and the soldiers were astonished seeing all this.
Because ever since many of them joined the army or even in the history they have read inside the education facility, there has never been a case where all themanders came out to greet someone.
Even when the leader of the richest [Iphus] came to visit, only 2 to 3 mainmanders came out to greet him. Even though [Iphus] is their main customer.
But now seeing all themandersing out of the base to greet one person who seemed ordinary other than that he was wearing a strange white suit, they knew it was someone no one on this could mess with, or maybe in their entire gxy.
Under the watchful and confusing eyes of all the soldiers, Fu Yan went inside the building.
After Fu Yan went inside the building along with themanders, the door behind them closed.
The moment the door closed, a siren echoed in base zero and the whole base entered the highest alert.
"This is not a drill! This is not a drill! The base will now enter the highest alert. The base will now enter the highest alert. All irrelevant personnel are to stay inside their residence. No inbound ships are to be allowed within 100 GYN (500 Km). You are authorized to shoot at will if anyone dared to approach the base zero. Themand center is off-limit to anyone below the rank of amander. Even if amander wants to have ess to themand center, get instructions from themand center first."
This warning was repeated 10 times and then the whole base was engulfed in silence. Other than the marching sound of soldiers patrolling the streets and the buildings slowly descending into the ground, no other sound was heard.
Even though the warning was echoing in every corner of the base, inside themand center, where Fu Yan was currently being led to meet themander-in-chief of this, there was no such warning.
After walking for a while, under the guidance ofmanders, Fu Yan reached a room that was equipped with different kinds of machines.
In the center of the room, a bug was sitting that seemed old and many tubes were connected to its body.
Seeing this, Fu Yan knew that he must be themander-in-chief of this. When Fu Yan walked into the room, themander in chief tried to stand up but failed to do so.
The two bugs that stood beside him, hurried forward and tried to stabilize him but themander pushed them away and after some effort, he stood up.
The tubes were still connected to his body and it seemed that without these tubes, he would die.
Seeing the struggle of themander, Fu Yan did not say anything and just watched with cold eyes.
When themander in chief stood up with great struggle, he bowed his head with great difficulty and then greeted in a weak voice.
"I wee Sir Librarian to [Ligrion]. I am sorry that I was unable to wee you myself. As you can see, I can''t live without these tubes and if I were to disconnect them, I would have died even before I could wee you. That would have been even a greater offense. I hope that Sir Librarian can forgive me."
Fu Yan calmly listened to this and then made some gestures in the air. After looking into the air for a while, a smile crept upon his face and he replied with a smile.
"Mr. Lihi, you are a C-level Library customer so you don''t need to do all this. If you had informed the Library about your difficulties, then we would have arranged some other means of collecting the book. Also, you don''t need to struggle just to greet me. Pleasey down."
At first, Fu Yan had nned to just get the book,te fee, and leave this. He did not care about whether the person in front of lived or died. But when he pulled up the information regarding him from the Library, he was surprised to find out that he was a C-level customer.
All the customers of level D+ or higher were valued highly by the Library because they give high enough resources to the Library.
Mr. Lihi had also given 2 high-energys to Library that increased his level high enough for Fu Yan to greet him warmly.
This was just customer service by the Library as it needs the energy to continue to operate.
After hearing the reply from Fu Yan, Lihi let out a sigh of relief and he was d that he gave an extra that time to the Library even though it cost him a lot but it was all worth it and that could be seen from how the attitude of the Librarian changed from before when he did not care about him.
